Our XL-lent New Look!

As you may have noticed, we have given our logo a makeover.  After more than 20 years, we thought it needed a little “nip and tuck.”

The process for updating the logo involved time and effort.  We frst asked for input from chorale members, which led to the frst draft of the logo.  With that draft in hand, a core group within the Board offered their suggestions and input, which led to a second round of options.  Finally, the full board was presented with 4 options and from that, our fnal logo was designed.   A huge “thank you” goes out to Asim Lewis for working with us to design our new logo.

In developing the new logo, we wanted to carry over something from the past into the present to maintain some continuity.  As a result, the eighth note carries over with a fresh, updated look. Additional elements were added to give it even more impact.  While it may not convey a specifc message, the most important thing is what you get from the logo.  One message is clear:

Brazos Valley Chorale:  Your voice in the Brazos Valley.
